And sometimes I just feel so lost
I forget which way I'm heading
Haven't I been here before?
Didn't I feel this way... yesterday?

On and on, the story goes...
I'm afraid to see what I've left behind
so i grit my teeth and push on
For the prize that can't been seen

And I know, tomorrow will
be another struggle for sanity
You will know, it won't be
easy to keep your sanity

How do you know
if it isn't all a waste,
whether its just a waste?
and how would you know
if it even exists
or whether its all for nothing?

but I've been proven wrong,
over and over again.
days like this and times like this
they never last, they never have
they never have.
